What a sales line "Parker pens are good pens"! The second ad is charming!! I can't imagine using a fountain pen. I'd probably end up with blotches everywhere!
That's a perfect way to describe vintage ads! They are indeed miniature time machines to the past!!
Now that you mention the scratching, I think I was watching something once when someone used a fountain pen and you could hear the scratching! I wouldn't like that.
