I have mixed feelings about Audrey Hepburn in general and when I saw this film a few months ago I was underwhelmed. I loved Hepburn in Roman Holiday, but found her boring and flat here. Maybe it's the plot's fault? I don't know. I also didn't enjoy Breakfast at Tiffany's, particularly because of a gay character being written as straight and as the love interest when it wasn't necessary in the least.
