Spreadable Spam, from 1975. Cuz it's not horrible enough in slabs, let's make it spreadable!!! I think you'll get more than 4 sandwiches from it, cuz gag, blerg, barf.

This stuff has remarkable texture. I'm picturing Jackson Pollock flinging it onto his canvases to produce a solid effect.

oh i forgot about that stuff! i'm thinking it's about the same...that deviled ham was basically just salt flavored softened play doh!

Perfect description of deviled ham! I saw at the grocery store yesterday that you can buy a single slice of Spam in an air tight plastic bag. I did not check the use by date.

that 'found in mom's basement' watermark on some vintage ads just always has me saying --to myself-- 'bless their hearts'....they can't 'own' this ad or have exclusive rights to it....

BUT, this is probably something you'd feed someone you were keeping in a basement!
