Was looking up "October 16th" and found this colorful ad from LIFE magazine.

I don't know- can you still buy "Mexicorn" today? I don't think I'd like my corn with peppers though. Also, I prefer frozen corn over canned corn. And I like my corn with just butter, salt, and pepper.

Green Giant still makes Mexicorn, but I believe they have dropped the name Niblets from it. I bought Mexicorn as recently as ten years ago (my mom used to serve it with a chili relleno casserole she occasionally made.) The peppers in Mexicorn are sweet, not hot, so it's not a very exciting product.

Mexicorn is even sold here in Australia. In reality, it's simply a form of canned succotash.
