I'm not sure what they were going for but that sea looks dizzying.  Is that a wave cresting?  Why all the angled lines?  ::is seasick::

Ha hhahaha! Yes - it's sickening, like the wave will sweep away all the trappings of the Beautiful People and the one in the red dress is just waiting serenely for it - *pushes her to safety*

Yeah, I couldn't focus on it too long, as I was trying to figure out how that ad was a good representation for Hawaii and/or the shipping line! Egads!!!

I 'get' wanting to do something different than the standard 'ship in water' ad; but this?! This ad should receive a special Vintage Ads' award for 'most confusing' ad!
