It's the shortest day of the year here. It can only get better from now.

Oh wow!!! There's my 'I learned something today'!! I know, obviously, that some people are having winter right now; but I had no idea that the longest/shortest days were also reversed! DUH!! In December, I think the 21st, we're having 'short' for the shortest day of the year; but obviously that will be the longest for you!
