I remember the day I realized that the 20s kids wth their fast cars, speakeasys and bathtub gin were my grandparents. (They were both born around 1900, so in the 20s they would have been in their 20s; Grandma was a PK and Grandpa was a drummer in a jazz band.)
This doesn't have to be removed; but IIRC this is a reworded fake based on a real ad (did I word that right?) I posted this myself a few years ago for a car contest and a community member told me it wasn't real and shared the real one. If this is real, then disregard this comment!

Date: 2016-06-16 05:28 pm (UTC)I'm trying to look this up on mr. google. Here's apparently the real ad http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_FA-AN9mfIZI/TLibJdJ9WeI/AAAAAAAAADs/MDub-RiYkqs/s1600/1957+Pontiac+Star+Chief+ads.jpg The 'spread your legs' version appears to be most prevalent and I can understand that! There are arguments that the font doesn't match any other of their advertising from the time either. Comment #9 http://comicsidontunderstand.com/wordpress/2013/04/25/what-were-they-thinking/
