I kind of miss the old Ronco and K-Tel commercials. The people in them weren't quite as incredibly inept as one sees in current commercials.

The products, while not necessarily something you really needed, seemed to be a little more useful than today's stuff, too. Sure, what appear to be little plastic pop rivets for buttons aren't vital, but they still seem more useful than a thing that cooks cylinder-shaped eggs.

Mom had the flower looms! As I recall a few pegs broke off and she replaced them with nails.
