It's funny how food choppers are such a mainstay of these commercials. I had a Pampered Chef slap chop before they were popular and it was so useless. I couldn't hit it hard enough or else it really did not chop well! It was never as easily cleaned as advertised.

My mom had a knock off Vegematic though, it was orange and white and I played with it a lot :D

My mom had one of these. It looks good on paper (or screen), but I can still remember the heels of my palms hurting like hell because it takes a lot of force to get the blades to slide through. I put it on the floor and leaned into it and I recall it made it easier.
