As someone who watches no television. I actually caught the first season of this when no one was watching. I liked it. Then that summer, people tuned into the reruns and it was a hit.

I never watched "Friends"…

so when I used to walk this dog in the West Village a few hears ago, I was kind of baffled to see people congregating near this unremarkable Old Law "dumbbell" tenement on the corner of Bedford and Grove and snapping selfies.



You know that they never would have gotten the "Friends" apartment into the 12 x 50-foot space it supposedly occupied!

TV apartments are alnost always crazy. I disliked Friends because it was so unlike NY. Seinfeld's building is my favorite because it's actually in San Francisco lol.

I remember the Sex in the City tours stopping by Patricia Field's on 8th st. They hated them.
