Much in the same vein that Vintage Ads doesn't allow politicking, we do not allow proselytizing. Political and religious ads are welcome--provided they are vintage, but disparaging someone's beliefs or preaching yours to others, in the manner of politics, is not allowed. We are a community of members who encompass a wide variety of beliefs and even lack of. Everyone should feel welcome here. Of course the welcome mat is yanked back for those who come in and try to preach, be it about politics, religion, whatever.
There's no tolerance for intolerance.
If someone has different beliefs/views/opinions than yours that doesn't make them less of a person than you. It doesn't mean you must 'make them see right'. Discussion about things are always encouraged and we've had plenty, done with intelligence, thought, and respect for others' views.
So apologies if you saw the stream of religious ads posted with the preachy commentary added by the poster. Religious ads are fine, adding commentary preaching fire and brimstone is not. Political ads are fine, attacking candidates and/or political parties is not.
Such rules don't apply to Donald Trump, naturally. ;)

Date: 2015-12-21 01:24 am (UTC)Something I didn't know is that the Canadian-made toilet paper that was rated highest by Consumer Reports, White Cloud 3-Ply Ultra Soft and Thick, is not available in Canada. It is sold exclusively at Walmart stores in the United States (the Internets knows all!) I'll bet Canadians' red, raw butts are cursing NAFTA!

Date: 2015-12-21 01:39 pm (UTC)There's a lot of people on Yahoo Answers wondering if we have TP here!
I am always envious of the awesome snacks that Americams have. And TV. And OTC drugs we could never get here too.
