Yes they had a series. It had nothing to do with Freddy Krueger – it was a little bit of X-Files and a lot of what was later Warehouse 13.

Well, Friday the 13th as a whole had nothing to do with Freddy Kreuger either, at least until Freddy vs. Jason.

Though to be honest I sometimes have trouble remembering which one (of Freddy, Jason, and Michael Myers) goes where.

Friday the 13th is the one where the first one is the best.

Halloween has Jamie Lee Curtis and I have only seen the first one.

Nightmare on Elm Street peaked with #3. It is also the one with cool special effects and funny one-liners.

Hellraiser is the genuinely creepy one, the first 2 anyway, III is trash, IV is quite good.

idk about the Friday the 13th TV series but there was also Freddie's Nightmares on TV and that didn;t have too much to do with Freddie.
