Even adjusted for inflation that'd be less than $250 today... which is dirt cheap if you look at what they get for these chairs now ($700 - $2K)

Wow, Herman Miller has been around for a long time!

I love their Aeron chairs; the design is now 21 years old and it's still the most comfortable office chair I've ever sat in.
