Some *otherwise normal* childhood friends used to swear by these things. They were also into astrology and Linda Goodman's Sun Signs and I just ... couldn't ... go along with the whole prognostication thing. I guess I could have been nicer about telling them this, though. Good thing we're still friends 50 years later!
