Saturday, October 31, ONE DAY EVENT: Ads in Disguise/Annual Amnesty A day to post FAKE ADS!! (Yes you can still post real light bulb/station wagon ads on Saturday). But on Saturday October 31 you can post FAKE ADS!!! No 'vintage' requirement necessary. If you tag the ads (if you don't tag ads, no worries, this is one of the days I actually will put on a mod tagging hat and do it) the only two tags you can use are: Ads in Disguise and Annual Amnesty, no other tags. If you put other tags, again, don't worry about it.

And let me be a mother hen mod here for a moment. Saturday North America turns their clocks back, the EU & UK did so last week. PLEASE also ensure your batteries are working in your smoke detector. Some fire departments not only give out free batteries, they give away free smoke detectors. If you have furbabies, PLEASE get a sticker for your doors (one on each side of your house, if you don't have a door on each side, put one in a window on that side without a door) listing your furbabies. If something happens (I hope not ever) they will know to look if you are not there.
Also, my yearly reminder and STRONG suggestion to get a carbon monoxide detector if you have a gas furnace (or any heat device that could put out carbon monoxide). Get the one with the digital read out, your life IS worth $25 (and much much more!!!). If you can only get the basic one---GET IT!!!!! Don't go without!!
