I actually didn't discover Thurber's work until Keith Olbermann started reading his stories on Fridays during Countdown. (And it appears the TV show predates me by about a year...)
I certainly do- "My World and Welcome To It" with William Windom. It was on during the 1969-70 season and was cancelled at the same time it won Emmys. It is remembered as one of the most intelligent shows in TV history.
