According to the Consumer Price Index calculator of inflation, “The Drive” in green onyx would run you a cool $3,489 today.

I'd think that would raise some eyebrows over in Accounting.  Maybe it should be renamed “The Clinton”!

You have good taste! That lamp makes me drool; I'd also really want the deluxe desk set if only the centerpiece wasn't golf-related.
