heh. when we were little, i thought that vienna sausages were HAUTE CUISINE.

of course we thought spaghetti noodles with canned tomato sauce and a little shaky cheese (Parmesan in the green can) was italian food, too.

There are only two ways to eat vienna sausages: room temperature straight from the can because you're lazy, or maybe fried a little bit and then with bread because you feel like living it up.

Anything else and you're kidding yourself.

We always ate them straight from the can or on white bread (HAD to be white bread!).
