as it says in the ad---your suppose to put it in the fridge for the juices to become jewel like jelly that you'll proudly serve! BLERK!!!!! SQUARE CHICKEN!!!!!
artwork is very pretty and the tea cups are darling!
welp. that's some fine print i sincerely wish i hadn't read out loud to my husband because i am actually getting that feeling like i might vom. you know where else you see that jewel-like jelly? FUCKING CAT FOOD. GAHHHHHHHH
I am embarrassed/intrigued to say that we had this occasionally -- canned whole chicken, and the bones were pressure cooked to almost be chewable. Sounds unlikely that this is available now, but when we were in London, Harrod's had the weirdest canned goods, like canned antelope, so perhaps canned chicken in aspic is nestled on a shelf way over there.
Oh no, canned whole chickens are still available! Stateside, even. ;) They're on the top shelf of the canned soups/meats aisle at the main grocery store I trawl through... every time I pass them, I stop and marvel. Or something along those lines, haha.

No housewife makes radish flowers unless she's proud of whatever the hell's on the plate.
Don't see any radishes around that tinned spaghetti, do ya?
