seeing that green bottle makes me think of creme de menthe.....that stuff was good....when i was a wee imp (like 6-10 year range) every weekend we'd go out to dinner with my great-aunt mamie and her boyfriend harold and they'd order me a grasshopper....yes, alcoholic beverages for chirruns....i could get a grasshopper or a brandy alexander....i preferred the grasshoppers cuz i like mint....

mint is one of the more wonderful things in the world! i feel bad for my friend labs who is ALLERGIC to mint.

as far as GROWING the stuff, though...yep it's still wonderful stuff, it grows very easily but. you gotta keep it CONTAINED or it sends out runners and takes over the yard. mama's house in virginia, the former owner had mint in their garden patch and it had spread about 12 feet into the YARD.

i spent a lot of time pulling mint out of the yard, yes i did.

if someone wanted to be evil to someone else, i can see oversowing the yard with mint as a satisfying thing...and hey, it gives off a lovely fragrance when it's mowed! *snickering*
