Weekend EventS Starting Tomorrow!

Friday May 1 thru Sunday May 3 Weekend Events!! THREE EVENTS!! 1. Ads mentioning May (the month, but yes, sure post something with Brian May --or other 'Mays', we're open to interpretation--- older than 20 years ;) 2. Hideous Food (yes, jello monstrosities and other hideous foods that don't involve jello!) AND for May Day 3. ads featuring the color RED!

And no, I have not forgotten expanding our events calendar, real life sucks currently and my spine is trying to move somewhere else. Since my spine didn't give me a 3-day notice (I know these laws), I'm gonna fight it tooth and nail to make it stay where it's at now. :) I'm slowly putting it together and will get it finished before the locust trees bloom in about a week (then allergies round 2 hit HARD and I'm a space cadet---more so than usual ;)

Yikes, be careful. Being the owner of a funky and wayward spine, I know what you mean. Is there anything I can do to help?

I've had a couple of surgeries and the last one was primo. Everything is good as long as I don't push my parameters at all.

Take care and here's a trick: when rolling over in bed *which can louse up a touchy spine* make your arms into a circle as if hugging someone, palms pushing against each other, then push off with one foot. That way, the elbows and wrists form a circle to complete the roll, and the tender back isn't twisted.

thanks for your getting up advice!!! my mattress doesn't help my problems any cuz it's like 20+ years old.....so i just gotta sort of pull myself out of the center in the morning....i have muscle relaxers to take as needed and i take one before bed.....it's soooo weird (and so typical for me) that some days---fewer than before----i'm FINE all day long....then other days---more than before---i'm just in horrible pain and nothing alleviates it....doesn't change whether i'm sitting, laying down, standing (standing actually makes it worse), heat does nothing for it......i have senile osteoporosis affecting my spine (gee, i'm 46 going on 90 bone wise) but my dr. says this is probably something else on top of that....i'm getting a MRI next week.....so that'll be nice---i hope....i actually like them....my current luck the machine will short circuit!! :)

least my mod hat is on my head and not my back!! HAH!!! gotta always try to have fun! :)
