I normally have no issue with the idea of TV dinners, but that uniformly colored square of... something... is giving me pause. It looks like a piece of plastic.

I think it might be a piece of plastic. It’s the “dummy compartment” and they stick it there so it won’t be assymetrical or just have an empty well.

At least that’s my hypothesis. Maybe it is “food.”
