And my god that cabinetry is hideous. But the little girl's dress is adorable, if a little short.

It is really busy - and how would you tell if they were dirty (or maybe that's the point)?

I just wonder if anyone's refrigerator actually looks like that... I mean, where's the wine?

I know, it always makes me think - that ham is going to make everything else in the refrigerator that is also unwrapped smell like ham!

I had some little short dresses like that when I was a tiny kid in the early 70s, and I always do a double-take when I see them. It's the same as the ultra-short dresses Darla wore in "The Little Rascals" from the 20s. I can't imagine why they ever made little girl dresses that short. I will say that my dresses all came with little flouncy shorts (my mum called them "bloomers"). Still. It might go a long way towards explaining why I as soon as I was allowed to dress myself, I didn't wear any dresses again until I was about 16.

Likewise, I had some very short skirts when I was a little kid, i.e. before three. Then I started on the "I'm Wearing pants" campaign. It wasn't until I was an full on adult that I started to consider wearing dresses again.

I actually love the cabinets. Would cost a ton of money to have them painted that way, though.

I'm wondering if they were painted or decaled. I can't remember when decals became big, although I know folks were decorating with contact paper in the 60's.
