i totally understand where you were coming from.....i am---well i can be, i try to keep it in check ;) -- pretty sarcastic, which is hard to translate into a font.....my mind is aligned with beavis & butthead quite often too.....

Heh, heh, heh... my mind tends to race in that direction pretty darn fast and I try to behave until I get the lay (snicker) of the land.

I will remember this in the future... is there any ad that would be consider too much for here? I mean, aside from the really truly offensive ones that I wouldn't post anyhow...

just ads that fall within the rules.......though--and this only happened once and i can't ever see it happening again---ads promoting violence and/or involving children in ads for illegal activities THEN and now, no.....i had some asshat---when i rejected their post with such ads that were quite disturbing (and i asked mr. google, they were real) telling them they were not appropriate for the community---tell me that they would be fine with just a trigger warning' and blah blah blah....they got very asshatty and kept DEFENDING their 'right' to post such things.....i always try to be fair....but this was, oh it was bad....i snapped, went off on him and yeah, they're gone.....i did a post saying we would NEVER allow any kind of ad that depicted violence and/or involving children in illegal ways (no i won't link to the ads, they need to be buried) nor would we ever get into 'trigger warnings' here....

so use that as the absolute EXTREME to guide you---don't go there and you're golden! :) just follow the rules for dates, NSFW behind a cut.....and yeah, that's pretty much it.....and there's been rare---very rare incidences, where i might ask for a cut on behalf of someone.....ie: someone posted an ad that depicted a scene that reminded this person of something horrible that happened to them--they admitted it was personal, but it was recent, etc and i understood, contacted the poster and they put it behind a cut with a basic '19XX ad for whatever it was' behind cut......when i say people can contact me for anything they can! if it's a reasonable request, i'll accommodate it and i think most of us here would!

and truly offensive---depending what they of, they might be very welcome!! :) you can always ask me first before you post if you wanna know!!

Those were the ads that I consider such a big no-no in my world that I wouldn't even go looking for them. *Shudder*

I love people who try to force their 'ideals' (and I use the word lightly) down your throat and say it's their right. I had an extremely special snowflake who got pissed because I wouldn't let her post (her very hurtful and nasty)anti-gay stuff on one of my coms. I finally banned her and asked LJ to take care of it. Considering some of the other stuff she was does, they were happy to. Won't go into detail, but yeah, I understand. If there's something I consider dicey. I will ask first.

Snort! That's some loving music there - I did like the video production, but wouldn't want to watch it drunk. It reminded me of something from Carnival in Brazil.
