Don't knock it 'til you try it!

Actually, I've never had it... I'll try it tomorrow.

Peanut butter and mayo might not be bad - if you add a hamburger.

When I was young, I used to eat sandwiches of peanut butter, mayo, banana, and watercress.

Yes, I ate this of my own free will.

peanut butter and apples or bananas is fine! No pickles!

The mind does boggle.

Jell-O is the only thing that could make this worse!

I loved this combo as a kid! But not Skippy -too sweet- it is best with a no-sugar pb and homegrown dark green lettuce fresh from the garden.

We had a peanut shop in my town where they would fresh grind peanut butter from roasted, salted peanuts. I really liked fried natural salted peanut butter with mayo. Skippy or Jif or any processed peanut butter would be way too sweet and too oily,

I liked both the taste and texture. I used Miracle Whip, so with the fresh ground salted peanut butter it was a nice combination of salty, tangy and a little sweet. "Frying" the sandwich was like making a grilled cheese sandwich, I made the sandwich then got both sides toasted. It gave it a nice crunch. I was poor when I made this, so it was just regular old white bread.

Well. I'm horrified. I will put peanut butter with all kinds of freaky stuff, and I will put mayo ... in a rocketship to mars or some other place far, far away from my food.

I have never tried it, but it’s far less gag-inducing than a lot of combinations I’ve seen in this group for the first time. Apple pie and cheddar cheese, for example, or Jello-O and shredded lettuce. Or pickles and...anything, really. This, on the other hand, is a combination I might conceivably try. Not with pineapples, let’s not get crazy, but with lunchmeat, boiled eggs and chopped onions, maybe.

On a completely different track, I love the vintage fonts here!
