Let hear which room you would choose if you were living in 1927.
What would you keep?
What would you dump?

Lets hear it!

Oh, you have done me low with these!

I like the floor in two, the patio/French doors in one.

The walls in one, the darker wood paneling in 2 (and the hardwood floor in one).

None of the furniture really works for me, but I do love the exposure in 2, but the view in one.

Yeah, I'm a mess...

In the top one I'd keep the floor and the walls. I also love the French doors/windows but I'm not feeling the love for the window treatment; the floor appears to be made of marble tile and I don't feel as though the drapes quite cut it for that (stripes yes, the pattern in the stripes...no). Ditto the furniture...I see a more plushy, less stick (sticky) furniture style. The pedestal, vases and table lamp can stay (not the floor lamp) and so too can the bookcase thing although a more formal presentation type bookcase might work better. I like the elevated level of the next room and the access archway but again, just not loving the furniture or drapes.

Love the color scheme in the bottom room; ditto the walls, floors and the simple window treatment. I like the pattern on the little rug but somehow it doesn't do it for me in size and where they've placed it. Not crazy about the items on the walls, especially the thing between two of the windows and the mural wall should be left to stand on its own IMO without something hanging on it, and while I like the upholstery on the couch, the bare legs (again the sticky aspect of the furniture) just seems to jar me a bit. The end table reminds me of something I might see in a thrift store; not loving the magazine holding chair at all. I like the style of the lamp but not crazy about the lamp itself. This room feels to me as though it doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up. You have a couch and a chair with magazine holders, but then you also have what appears to be a dining area so a bit function confused.

Of course, these are just my opinions; someone else might love it all. It's just whatever trips your trigger. :)

Edit: Ok, it would have helped had I been wearing my glasses; I would have noticed these were sunrooms. *facepalm* I still am not wild about the furniture but I'm guessing it is more appropriate for a sunroom than something more plushy. Lol, didn't mean to write a book here but that seems to be what I'm doing. ;)

Love your icon and it clearly illustrates how I feel- I can't decide either; I think both are quite nice!

I like them both! #2 seems more like it should be in a fancy city apartment. I prefer the walls in the first one and there is a statue of a horse so #1.

The first one really appeals to me.

#1. It seems more like a sunroom to me, although I'm not wild about the color scheme. But the color of the walls, the shape of the door, and the general dimensions/proportions speak to me. Make more of the furniture like the green chair and add an ottoman or two, and we're good. I'd probably lose some of the things like the vases and replace the lamp (but if I lived then, I'd probably like them)

#2 seems less like a sunroom and more like a regular room to me. I like the floor and the wallpaper (?), although not together. The furniture, with the possible exception of the chair in the right foreground, is not to my taste at all. The knickknack shelf is cute, though, as is the plant in the sconce.

Both. One for the rising sun, one for the setting sun, eastern exposure, western exposure. Solved!

I like them equally, for different reasons.

I prefer the floor in 1, but the walls in 2.

I love the doors in 1, and the curtains in 2.

If I could simply have both rooms at opposite ends of the house, that would be perfect.

I love them both, but here are my keeps/changes:

1) Love the tiled floor! The vases and stands are kind of nice, but the curtains must go. I like the black chair but the other chairs don't look very comfy. I would change those.

2) Love the rug! Also the dining room table and chairs. Not crazy about the sofa but love the mural. The floor's cool. I like the knickknack/book rack on the wall and the view looks like it could be of the ocean, so that's a plus! :) The plant is another must-keep. :)
