Classic stuff -- the first time Friend and I saw it, she neglected her Eskimo pie treat and watched, terrorized, at the ending. The Eskimo pie got all over her clothes and hands.
Ok, listening to that music made my skin crawl, lol. I remember when I came home from seeing it that I was so freaked out I couldn't even look at my fish tank...and there were just guppies in it. :)
That poster makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end even now, all due to my older brother scaring the hell out of 5 year old me the summer after the film's release. It took me a couple more years to realise that sharks weren't that big, nor were there any great whites ready to attack children paddling in the sea on England's south coast.
I got my own back on him that summer, though. He'd brought Peter Benchley's novel on holiday, and on the train journey back home, I swallowed my loose front tooth and was sick all over the damn book. Still proud of that. ;)
