I'm a little too young to remember these ads about dreaming in one's Maidenform Bra, but I do remember a pretend ad in Mad Magazine making fun of them. It depicted a woman winning a race and the caption said, "I dreamed I was way out front in my Maidenform Bra."

Thank God I'm not the only person who thinks of that every time they see one of the Maidenform Bra ads.

As a side note, my girlfriend has a couple of those industrial strength brassiers that are about as appealing as... well, anything that you'd use the word 'industrial' to describe. I refer to them as "Iron Maidenform bras".

Hm, I seem to recall that was part of an "Ads That Didn't Make It" article, and was drawn by Bob Clarke.

I did one once showing a man being escorted down a hallway while neighbors watch, captioned "I dreamed I was hauled away by the cops in my Maidenform bra."

With that image, I'm not sure I could have passed up the opportunity to say "I dreamed I was busted in my Maidenform Bra" :)
