December 24, Wednesday, ONE DAY EVENT, Movie Trailer Day, Christmas movies
BOTH December 24 and December 25th: What I wanted and never got for Christmas AND how about we also toss in Favorite Christmas gifts too? So: Favorite Christmas Gifts AND What I wanted and never got for Christmas!
BOTH December 24 and 25th I'll have an open post which I'll date so it's up top of the community in case people are bored, home alone, stuck around people they need to vent about ;) , we'll be here for ya!!! (and after looking into the promo thing more, it appears I can cheaply just promote the COMMUNITY instead of an entry---that would take about 6 times as many tokens as we have!) So I'll do some community promos and if the open post is up top welcoming people, etc that should be fine. We'll see how that goes. Will do the same for New Year's Eve.)
The upcoming weekend event Friday the 26th thru Sunday the 28th is Game Consoles
December 31, Wednesday ONE DAY EVENT, Booze ads, party ads, let's have fun! And again, I'll have an open post if people are home alone, bored, again stuck around people they need to vent about ;) , we are ALWAYS here for you!!
Of course January 1st we are welcoming 1995 into vintage ads.
And OF COURSE I will be posting reminders about these events the day before!!!
Now, perhaps you have some ads for the upcoming events but you won't be around, available to post them? Well, let me walk you through how to do a scheduled post! Many thanks to
write_light for first telling members about how to do this. I've tried this myself and it DOES work! I've done some screen caps, as I know I learn quicker sometimes with a visual.
Just go to create a new post, as you normally would. That is how the date normally looks, but you see that 'change' next to the time? Please hit that.

Now you have this, where you can adjust the date and time.

As soon as you put the cursor in the date box to change the day a calendar pops up to select the date (or to even change the month).

Once you've selected your date, change the time. Please remember, time must be in 24 hour increments. As in 6pm must be as 18:00. I guess that's military time?

Do you post as normal, then hit post and you get this.

If later on you want to edit your post, change something, etc. You can find your scheduled posts when you hit your 'journal' tab.
