Oh, wow! Great to see this ad! I live in WA state but not Walla Walla. We still have an Arctic Circle in our town, right down the street! I've never eaten there, but my teenage son has with his friends. He says their burgers are really good.

If my memory serves me correctly that "19¢ hamburgers" is identical to the font and shape of McDonalds signage at the time. I wonder who copied who?

I went to college in Walla Walla, and a milkshake and fries from Arctic Circle was a typical Sunday night dinner (when the dining hall was closed). I loved their mint oreo shake. I believe the place still exists.
