Argh! We lived 60 miles from Richmond for 20 years, and I don't remember seeing any of these on our visits. I remember a fantastically elaborate Coke sign that occupied the corner of a building, and a biscuit company, but not these. Great find, rjwhite, and kudos to the columnist who wrote them.
