I don't see any truck in that picture... oh, wait, maybe at the bottom.

I remember listening to the song this was based on as a kid, but I don't ever remember seeing the movie.

There was some sort of trucking insanity in the 1970s I never understood. Convoys, CB radios, Smokey and the Bandit, White Line Fever. It's as if Hollywood gets fixated on a single idea/theme and beats it to death. Anyone remember BJ and the Bear?

Yes yes YES! BJ and the Bear... Greg Evigan. I was 9 and he was the love of my life. hahaha And there was definitely a trucking thing going on in the late 70's and early 80's, and an extension of that was the CB craze. We had one in every car, and a base at our house. My parents and siblings all had CB handles (nickname you were called over the CB). As for myself, I was torn between two that I liked, and it was an agonizing decision (a CB handle was a VERY important thing, once you chose one, you had to stick with it.) I couldn't decide between Blackberry Blueberry Blueberry Blackberry and Big Giant Duck. I was 5 or 6 years old at that time, not sure where I came up with either of them. :)
