weekend event...workers....

well my lovely weekend plans were scuppered by discovering what i thought was probably tendinitis in my foot being an actual fracture in a bone that of course takes weight with every step.....so after one more trip up to the medical supply place to get some foot boot (doesn't even sound sexy) i'm not really suppose to walk much or drive (it's my right foot, of course).....first world problems i know....still disappointing....i'll just sit in my chair in the street (with boot off, doctor said that was fine then) and keep getting some sun......

my foot will probably feel like these hands with these gloves on.....

That's a great ad. I love work gloves, almost enough you could call it a fetish---though maybe not, since there's not a sexual element involved?

Bummer about your injury. I got bulleted by a rock out from under a lawn mower yesterday and thought I'd be unable to put weight on that foot today (ankle pretty bad), but happily it's not anywhere near so bad as I'd feared. I won't have a sock on for a while, but I managed to don a low-rise Chuck Taylor slip with the tongue peeled back.
