I remember reading somewhere that Bette Davis washed her hair with Dreft at one point. No idea if it's true.

I've always thought Dreft was a silly name. It sounds like a fake product in a background shot, or in a parody.

I always thought Dreft was a weird name, too, like a combo of "drift" and "bereft." I also thought it was mostly for washing baby clothes.
