Arlene Who?  Oh, you know her.  Probably not from this movie...

But if you're a fan of classic Twilight Zone and the episode "22", she could scare you to death.  The way she autographed this pic was particularly hilarious.

More likely you know her from Star Trek (Original Series), as Spock's betrothed, T'Pring.

I had the good fortune to meet her about 10 years ago at a convention and didn't realize she'd done both roles.  I may have gushed a lot a little, but we had a chat and I got her autograph.

Farewell!

Here's an amazing clip reel of her roles.

Wild Wild West
"Night of the Circus of Death"
Outer Limits (available on VHS)
    "Demon with the Glass Hand"
Have Gun Will Travel
    "Princess and the Gunfighter"
(available from Columbia House)
Star Trek  "Amok Time"
    (available on VHS and DVD)
Hogan's Heroes
    "A Tiger Hunt in Paris"
  (available from Columbia House)
I Dream of Jeannie
    "Russian Roulette"

I didn't realize she played both roles either. Wow, she was lovely.

Sadly, I guess that makes a quick "they come in threes" celebrity death cycle.

I certainly do remember her from both TZ and ST. More sad news...

I remember her, but couldn't have told you what her name was.

Sadly, most folks don't get the reference when I've said "Room for one more, honey." on an elevator or any place that was getting crowded.

Love me some T'Pring! She got a man she never met to fight her husband (almost) to the death so her boyfriend wouldn't get effed up in a scenario where she came out on top no matter what the outcome.

What I didn't know was how many roles she appeared in until I saw startrek.com's post about her. I need to watch more of her work.

It's not canon, but if anyone is interested, go to YouTube and look up Star Trek: Of Gods and Men. She's in that. It's not clear whether she's T'Pring, but she does play a Vulcan. I think they let you draw your own conclusions.
