Milwaukee's "Super Domes" were eventually sold to Canadian National Railway in the early 1960s and were used on trains between Edmonton and Vancouver. They survived into the Via Rail era.

The first African Americans I had contact with as a child were the porters and waiters on the rail lines we rode.

Strange how this ad triggered that realization.
