As the other two posters noted, it didn't work as well as advertised. I watched a video by Lucky Penny Shop (they often have vintage toys) and I was surprised at how poorly it worked.
My mom bought me one of these at someone's yard sale (I think) in the 80s. Mine didn't work very well - you worked up a sweat getting enough ice for just one cone!
I had a knock-off version that worked horribly: you half-killed yourself with exhaustion trying to grind the ice cubes. I thought we got ripped off because it wasn't the Snoopy one, but gauging by the other comments, that wasn't the case! :: laughs::
Often seen on the "most dangerous toys" list - I had one but I wasn't allowed to operate it.
Mainly what I remember is the hideous screeching noise that it made while 'shaving' the ice. It was completely inferior to the much less flashy Slush Mug.

Not good relief.
