Actually it can indeed do almost all of those things.
It's similar to a stationary bicycle. Gout is arthritis in the toe and finger joints. Corpulence is basically being overweight. Losing weight helps eliminate the worse symptoms of gout (there is no real cure). So one claim true.
It looks really fun, which does promote good spirits and you can certainly work up an appetite after rigorous exercise. Two subjective claims true
I bet that saddle ride can cure indigestion with a nice big BM, edged to the end post by all that bouncing. One claim half true.
That type of abdominal bouncing is really good for the internal organs including the liver.
My Asian MD recommends I do an exercise where I fling my arms forward up and back again in a semi circle motion to 'exercise the internal organs'. For whatever reason, TCM feels that all parts of the body require light stressful exercise (tai chi, yoga, martial arts, etc) in order to maintain good health. Once claim true.
So that is one 'not really', one 'half true' and four and a half' truths.
