1952 print ad when Tony the Tiger sprung on to the cereal scene with new Frosted Flakes.

I always liked the 50s Tony.

BIG Kitty! And the cereal itself is not so bad either.

I wonder if the body of Katy the Kangaroo is buried under a certain parking lot in Battle Creek.

I still wonder what the ad company was actually doing, in order to come up with this concept. A breakfast cereal which is sweet and flaky. What's the right image for that. WE KNOW, A TIGER. A tiger that eats sugary cereal instead of felled gazelles like other tigers. This is totally sensible and natural thinking.

I seriously would love to know about their process.

I think the process was "choose cartoon animal at random"

Very appropriate since the voice of Tony passed away just recently.
