Cats in shelters are routinely dewormed; all the animals I've adopted were.

Also, fleas carry worm eggs; this is something I learned several years ago.

I know it's meant to be a cure for worms but in the first second I saw the advert, all I could think of was a stack of pancakes covered in syrup made from earthworms.
