i went to ireland as part of a band trip in high school - we marched in the dublin st. patrick's day parade, which was an indescribable experience.

i would actually really love to go back as an adult. we were there for...ten days, i think? but with performances and all, everything felt very frantic, we were heavily chaperoned, and i don't remember as much as i'd like.

Oh, I wish I could visit Antrim! My ancestors are from there - one of my aunts went about 20 years ago and was able to look up and visit with some distant relatives using church records.
