I have posted this before, but I can't get over the creepiness of this ad. What are these well-dressed people doing drinking cheap booze in such a seedy-looking hotel room (look at the filthy air vent behind that man's head)? I do not care to join them, thanks.

that looks like enough bourbon to put each of them in the hospital. i'm pretty sure "juice glass" is not a standard measurement of the stuff!

Hers, at least, looks like a highball glass and has ice taking up some space. It still looks like an awful lot of bourbon.

To show my ignorance, is straight bourbon over ice a thing? I've only ever had it neat or mixed in with other stuff.

i guess it can be; straight alcohol of any kind is really not my thing - i prefer to mix it with something, at LEAST club soda - but i've heard of it being served neat or over the rocks.
