I saw EJ perform a couple years ago. He had most of his original band from the 70s, and he played lots of his early period stuff. I had been hoping he'd play "Madman Across the Water" (the song) but I figured it a bit obscure. Not only did he play it, it became a 15+ minute improvisation that completely blew me away. I hold EJ's "prog period" music in high regard, and he did it mighty fine justice.
