I actually knew a man who got an eye permanently damaged by such a projectile when I was a teen. Fortunately that was after my parents bought my Daisy cock n pop.

But I guess somewhere there are idiots with projectile pooters even to this day.

my dad has a BB under the skin of his scalp. his cousin shot him. his cousin also got his bbgun priveleges removed, along with a whipping. so there you go.

oh how i LOATHE that movie. i hates it worse than smeagol hates a baggins!! *shuddering*

and it's going to be playing as we have dinner with my parents tomorrow...FRIED CHICKEN because we don't want the fuss of a big dinner. :D (it's only the 4 of us, so no hassle needed)

I like this movie, but it has been run into the ground because of the non-stop airing. They're doing the same thing to Christmas Vacation, which I also like, but not that much. I like most Christmas movies, but some I can't stand, especially Jack Frost and Jingle All the Way. Christmas with the Kranks is pretty low on my list, too, but I feel I need to actually watch it all the way through to have an opinion about it. So far, I haven't been able to do that. Not a big fan of The Santa Clause, either. Same with any sappy TV movie, especially if it's based on a Christmas song. Bleah!

i like a very few christmas movies...i disliked "a christmas story" at first viewing. i like the santa clause because it was funny.

i'd rather watch the black and white "a christmas carol" with alistair sim in it, or the muppet christmas carol. and if the 'rents had a dvd player, i'd take THOSE over to watch!

Those are also great! Another "Christmas" movie I don't like is Love Actually, except for the scene where Emma Thompson's character realizes that her marriage is ending after she opens her present and realizes the necklace she saw her husband buy was for someone else. But she pulls herself together for the sake of the kids so their Christmas isn't ruined. It's really powerful. It just seemed so real and poignant of what a strong woman would do in that situation. The rest of the movie was typical rom-com claptrap, IMO. Though watching Colin Firth is always a pleasure. :D

I played Santa a few weeks ago. A kid asked for a BB gun. I couldn't resist I told him you'll shoot your eye out. The kid gave me a weird look. His parents started chuckling.
