My choir director badly bowdlerized our version ("chicks'll *scream*" instead of "cream," etc). It happened that we were doing it the same school year that my theatre director had us doing As Is, the first play published about the AIDS epidemic. She was awesome musically, but we were unimpressed by her idea of how capable we were of handling adult material.
