no, the kid doesn't look creepy, but the ad is creepy....this isn't gonna end well (new tag! :)....i know back then it was more innocent times....sigh....where's our time machine?
Not quite the same, but not too different from the toy guns you can buy now. They suggest it is for people 5 years and up. Note that Denmark has very strict gun laws, so if people see a gun, they tend to think it's a toy.

Yeah, what every mom wants around the house on a rainy day! This was also from a time when kids played outside more, too.
I dunno. It seems like the less kids are allowed to play with guns the more they want to use the real ones on real people. I'm just glad my boys were never much interested in guns and I have no idea why not, but I hope they stay that way. We never encouraged them either way to play with toy guns or to avoid them. We do draw the line at violent video games and movies, though, and our kids have never given us any pushback about that (knock on wood).
