Not sure what "Silentium" was since I cannot find any discussion about it as a medication. Maybe the same active ingredient as in HiberNol.

Perhaps it did, which is why Silentium is no longer around, but I can't find any record of it on the FDA website or anywhere else. There's a band by that name, though. Cool!

It's from Ebony so kinda yes, kinda no. You wouldn't have seen it in a mainstream (white) pub of the time.

From what I could find, Vicks had alcohol, phenylpropanolamine and dextromethorphan. "Silentium" was probably just a BS marketing name that they abandoned, because those ingredients are still around.
