There's something so upsetting about the second one. I just can't imagine dialogue that doesn't begin with, "As soon as I finish stabbing this pumpkin in the eye, let's..." and it rarely ends well for that poor girl.

Beer + knives = Halloween in the ER.

The second one confuses me. I could see if Schlitz was taking a dig at light beers, but that's what they're selling, too. Why would they market it as being only half as fun? For people who don't want to get overly excited?

It initially confused me too, but now I think it means the other half is the activity you're doing while drinking the beer.

"Light refreshment is half the fun! The other half is murder!"

Oh, yeah. You don't want to be weighed down with a heavy beer when you go on your killing rampage. Makes perfect sense, but in that case you might want to opt for an energy drink.
