This is a very funny one considering that winter in Canada sometimes is 8 month long and it is soooo cold in winter! :-)

That is kind of an odd ad. I can understand the idea of selling an "oasis" in the Southwest where the fridge was pretty much the only relief from the brutal heat before A/C, but when I think of Canada, I don't usually think of sandy deserts and blazing heat. I know it can get pretty hot in the central provinces, though.
