I am cracking up over the $12.50 hr for a repairman. But seriously, I wonder how that compares to today?

So I did a Google search for an inflation calculator, because I was also curious. According to the one I found, 12.50 in 1971 is equivalent to 72.18 today.

I was wondering, too. Thanks for looking that up. $72.18 an hour would certainly take a bite out of my budget.

When I was a kid in Connecticut, we had a KitchenAid™ workhorse for a dishwasher, but we had to rinse everything before we loaded it in.
